Looking for a job Desired Position: Mechanical Engineering or related. Would prefer something in silicon microfabrication or MEMS development, but open to any engineering opportunity. Location: Currently in Kentucky, but willing to relocate anywhere. Education: MS Mechanical Engineering with research focusing on MEMS process development and characterization. Work Experience: Research assistantship in Material Science focusing on silicon process development, two hardware design internships focusing on lab instrumentation and testing, and a Linux programming internship based around terminal services programming. Skills: - FEA with extensive experience with ANSYS and COMSOL Multiphysics - Transistor and silicon process modeling experience with Sentaurus Workbench TCAD tools. - Silicon process flow design with hands-on experience in a cleanroom environment. (Experienced with PECVD, RIE, LPCVD, photolithography, E-Beam deposition, thermal oxidation, wet etching, and wafer dicing) - Great deal of experience with programming for data gathering and interpretation (LabVIEW, MATLAB, Mathematica) - CAD/CAM experience with NX, Catia, SolidWorks. Extensive experience with drafting and machine shop interaction. - Experienced with design for manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. - Greatly experienced with IT, including networking and general computer troubleshooting. - Great at working in a team environment, but equally capable of solo work.
