Job Opening: Location: San Francisco, but some other offices as well. Financial Software http://www.advent.com/about/careers There are a few positions available in the SF office, but the Associate Operations Engineer is a part of the team I work with. This is a graveyard shift, but the pay and benefits are pretty good. You would be working with 1 other person, and it's pretty relaxed. It would be good for a recent college grad or someone with a few years of experience. Most of the job is checking out scheduled tasks, and making sure they complete successfully, as well as reaching out to clients if there are problems. Some VBscript and SQL is also helpful, but it isn't too extreme. If the graveyard shift doesn't sound good, one of the daytime shifts will be available in July, I think, but the opening isn't on our site yet.
