Position Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science or other technical field
  • At least 2 years of professional web applications development experience
  • Working knowledge of common object-oriented design patterns and architectures
  • Experience designing relational database schema, proven familiarity with RDBMS optimization concepts and tools (indexing, query analysis, partitioning)
  • Experience working with web services (REST and/or SOAP) as both a producer and a consumer
  • Experience with provisioning and administering web (Apache) and database (MySQL) servers on a Linux platform in a production environment
  • Shell scripting (bash/perl/python) expertise
  • Experience developing multithreaded and/or distributed client/server applications.
  • Solid unit testing and load testing background, professional experience with tools such as JUnit or JMeter a plus
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Java/J2EE and Tomcat Application Server and experience with RIA platforms (Adobe, AIR, MS Silverlight, Google Web Toolkit or popular JavaScript libraries) should be noted on your resume.
