Job Seeker

Location: Columbia, MD (available anywhere between DC and Baltimore)

Education: MS in Biology (and a BS, too)

Experience: Science: Grad school (many, many classes and review papers), 1 year editorial work at the American Geophysical Union, education outreach internship at Ecological Society of America, ancient lab work. Not science: Many years working on conventions (mostly programming/scheduling), customer service, summer camp instruction.

What I am looking for: Technical/science/medical writing or related is preferred. Scientific conference work is also good. Anything where I talk to scientists and translate what they've said/written is fair game. No lab research.

Availability: ASAP

Contact: PM preferred, but ladlergo@gmail.com will also work

Opening hasn't been posted yet, but a department I work with needs an entry-level assistant. DC scientific nonprofit, truly remote (minus the annual meeting every fall), 35 hours/week. PM for more info or reply here if you can't do that.
