Looking for a Job Right now I'm probably only a few days away from being laid off from the firm I'm working for right now. We've been informed that some lay offs are pretty much eminent to keep the company afloat in this economy and right now I'm pretty much the bottom of the pecking in terms of seniority. That being said, my credentials are as follows. Location: Orlando, FL Education: Graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Michigan in April 2008. Work Experience: Just over a year of experience in the field. I presently...for the time being...work for a traffic engineering firm. Prior to that I worked in a grocery store for 8 years throughout high school and college. I'm currently looking for something still in the engineering field that would be competitive with what I'm currently making (50k).
