Job Openings Location: Phoenix, AZ (Scottsdale) Position #1: Video Digital Conversion Technician Description: An iMemories Video Digital Conversion Technician is an important part of the iMemories’ premium, best-in-class service offering. iMemories is a leader in the online home movie sharing market, and also converts home movie film, video and photos to digital formats (online and DVD). Will be responsible for handling the digital conversion of videotapes. In a high-performance and highly productive environment, this position requires Mac-based computer usage, as well as utilizing best-in-class digital systems, software/hardware and technology infrastructure. General Summary of Responsibilities • Responsible for the digital conversion of home movie videotapes to digital formats using customized hardware and software. • Demonstrates clear and polite written and oral communication, as well as effectively leads and coordinates department initiatives. The position will be responsible for creating and editing scene segments for home movie film reels and videotapes that have been converted to digital video. In a high-performance and highly productive environment, this position requires Mac-based computer usage, as well as utilizing best-in-class digital systems, software/hardware and technology infrastructure. General Summary of Responsibilities · Responsible for identifying, selecting and reviewing the scene segmentation for digitized home movies. Each digitized home movie video is separated into appropriate "events" or "chapters" as filmed by the consumer. This is handled with an internally designed technology program. · Demonstrates clear and polite written and oral communication.
