I just thought I'd chime in and suggest that, if anyone is interested, my employers are looking for people who might want to come to the city of Luoyang in Henan, China for at least one year to teach English. There's already a thread about it here http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3063119 After graduating with a BA last summer I had a lot of trouble finding a job back home, so I wound up getting this one through an SA thread. Overall it's been a pretty good experience, and while the pay isn't high in terms of USD (about $800/month plus accomodation, travelling expenses refunded upon contract completion) it is pretty high compared to the cost of living, and a decent option for waiting out the recession back home.
