I've had such people tell me that widespread access to soap and clean water is the cause of the decline in those diseases. The timing of each disease prevalence falling correlating to vaccine use is apparently a complete coincidence.

Remember that Reagan was twice elected president of the Screen Actors Guild, and fought against right-to-work in California. He had cred with the unions, before PATCO.

But even while he was head of SAG, he was secretly ratting his fellow actors out to the FBI. The man was a loving snake.

That's "Independent Bikers" that does the toys for tots things. I worked for a biker rag for 3 years and there's pretty much 3 types:
-Hell's Angels and various wanna-be groups. These are the Meth dealing assholes.
-"Independent Bikers" and other local versions. These guys fit the stereotype in how they look but they are probably the most awesome group of people I've ever met. They are the ones that have subgroups like BACA, Bikers Against Child Abuse, they are the ones that if a kid feels scared or intimidated they will literally act as guards for the kid. Sit outside their house, escort them to school and go to court with them, fill the front row in court and tell the kids if they feel scared to look at them not the guy on trial. They make the kids honorary members of the "gang", some of the stories make even old fucks like me misty eyed ( http://iwastesomuchtime.com/on/?i=84207 ). They're also the guys who go to funerals and form a line and rev their engines to drown out westboro baptist church assholes.
-Weekend bikers. Dentists and Lawyers who want to play biker on the weekends. Both the former groups despise them.

Funny thing is even the Hell's Angels are fiercely anti-pedo. Talked to two guys who used to be in and said the two biggest rules before you're even considered (Which takes years and getting in to a local chapter has to be a unanimous vote) is no pedos and no connection to law enforcement.

Sorry for derail but I had the same view of bikers till I worked there, never have met a more awesome group of people who would literally give the shirt off their back to anyone who needed it.

This matches most of my experiences (I'm not involved other than volunteering every year to work with the Texas Toy Run) but there's always some people at that event that spout off with absolutely vile stuff in that "everyone around me is a white male" sort of way and nobody but a few of us volunteers seems at all bothered. Plus the "why are you picking on us innocent bikers" reaction after the Waco thing earlier this year really makes me wonder how many of your second group identify more with the real hardcore nasties than the independents.

Plus words and language were incredibly important to the Norse peoples. They had a tradition called "flyting" that was a literal insult poetry contest - a rap battle - and a real man was expected to be really good at it because words and poetry were a major part of the culture.

No actual Viking would ever, ever be so dismissive of "mere words".

I could have sworn Santelli spoke before Obama's election (let alone inauguration) but I was way off. It definitely tapped into some existing resentment of the bailouts because I remember all my friends with lovely opinions griping about Wall St. getting money before they had the Tea Party to latch on to, though racism definitely played into it.

Thanks for the correction.

Also, Santelli wasn't pissed off about the Wall Street bailouts so much. What triggered his initial rant was the idea being floated to receive homeowners who found themselves suddenly underwater on their mortgages - who were largely victims of predatory lending tactics, and also largely poor minorities.

So yeah - racist from the beginning.
