Having been on some form of ADHD, bipolar, and anxiety meds since age 8 my opinion is that the best meds are ones you only notice when you don’t take them. Like, when I take my ADHD meds I don’t notice, but when I don’t I’ll be like “oh, it’s 11 am and I haven’t done any work this morning, I’ve been reading the internet for 3 hours, i forgot my Adderall.” On the flip side I recently had to switch from Adderall to Ritalin because of the shortage and for the first two weeks when my dosage was too high I had absolutely crushing, paralyzing anxiety. We dropped all the dosages by 10mg and now I don’t notice it, I just get things done. Riven fucked around with this message at 15:39 on Feb 26, 2023 |

Yeah totally, I don’t want to imply you shouldn’t experiment to find the perfect dose. Generally the way these things go is you ramp up until it’s unpleasant and then you knock a dosage level off and that’s your dose.
