Photos by Richard Learoyd.

Saw his work in an exhibition on contemporary portraiture, it was pretty amazing. The same exhibit introduced me to Laura McPhee, who recently had an exhibit in my city. She spent several years in Idaho, documenting the american west in large format--it was really something to see these 6' x 8' photos in person.

From Emil Kozak's series Big Black Nothing, where he walks until he gets scared, takes a picture, and then turns around and walks back.

Vice posted this guy's work a while back, and I loved it then as much as I do now. They can be hit or miss on whether the work they post is any good (in my opinion, a lot of very...hipster-friendly(?) photography posted by them), but this really caught me. They had an interview too. Here's that: http://www.vice.com/read/emil-kozak-tells-us-the-stories-behind-his-big-black-nothing

Glen E. Friedman has a new book out. He is pretty famous for his pictures of the early scenes of Skateboarding, Punk and Hip-hop. I got the book in the mail today and I just want to rip out all the pages and post them all over the place.
Anyway here are some pictures he took.

Here is his website too http://burningflags.com/

Holy poo poo this owns hard enough that I'm about to sell off a bunch of my cameras to buy a super wide angle lens. I'd seen some of Friedman's stuff before, but don't think I ever had a name to put with it. Thanks!

Not sure if this is the right thread or not, but the Mossless Issue 4 kickstarter is ~72 hours from ending and still about $1600 short of their goal.

I'd highly recommend getting issue 3 as well if you haven't seen it, one of my favorite photo zines.
