Here are some photos that you might think are digitally enhanced.

quote:

He arranges materials and paints that blend with the architecture, and then documents and presents the work through photography. Each visually complex creation redefines general perceptions of space.

It’s easy to first assume that the compositions are the result of a digital manipulation, however, in reality they are created, by hand, by an artist with an incredible sense of perspective. Viewers are instantly challenged to understand how the shapes, colors, and architecture fit together. Rousse limits that perspective by converting the three dimensional area into a flat photograph. In doing so, he invites his viewers to experience the artwork through a combination of reality and their own imagination.

I've always liked the album cover but never knew it was shot on large format. That's pretty cool.

Note: if you click the link, you may or may not see a severed donkey's head. (by may not I mean yes, yes you will).

He set up two rooms. One room holds the subject and a light source. The other contains photo paper. The rooms are connected by a lens.

Anyone got recommendations for cool photographer instagrams? I'm kinda late on the bandwagon and so far the only one I have is Mathieu Venot (https://www.instagram.com/legrandbazar/)

Many many out there. I follow a few, but can't name their IG accounts off the top of my head.

Follow accounts like minimalzine, subjectivelyobjective, etc - they often have photographers post their photos fo a week or they highlight photographers, so you discover that way.

This guy has good photos (found him from subj/obj) - https://www.instagram.com/sebastientixier/

edit. I'll add this mag's account as well https://www.instagram.com/fotografiamagaz/
