A few days late, but you can't half tell Danger was inspired by Yuzo Koshiro on 3h11.

Sounds awesome, I hope the vinyl isn't sold out by the time I get paid though, else it's the digital copy for me :(

Also can't get enough of Fear of Tigers at the moment, a million thanks to the OP for bringing him to my attention.

He's not being an rear end in a top hat, your mixes really are quite terrible. Sorry people don't think you have mad skillz like you seem to think you possess.

If only to chuck stuff at him and call him a wanker, yes.

(btw I have it on good authority that someone else does the mixing while he just stands there with headphones on.)

So erm, Pendulum had a remix competition for 'The Island Part I' and a 16 year old kid from France won it.

Daft Punk, eat your heart out. His original tracks are great as well, go to his Myspace and check out 'Shuriken' and 'For You' if you don't believe me.

Unreal.

Are there people not bored of that track already? It's repetitive as gently caress and overplayed. Hardly 'go down in history' territory here. It's just another anthem along the lines of 'Put Your Hands Up For Detroit' that will get forgotten about. One only got to 7 on the charts here, not particularly good when the most popular House tracks have been higher, or even number 1 like David Guetta.

To be fair there's some decent remixes of it out there, particularly Congorock's remix.

EDIT - And if you like DnB then Netsky's remix isn't half bad, either.

Ta for listening! Got any thoughts on the set, Good or bad? I'll be re-recording over the weekend to sort out a couple of the scrappier mixes but looking for some thoughts on the quality as is before I shove it under every promoters nose.

First 10 minutes didn't really do anything for me but around the 12 minute mark it started to pick up the pace and I could see myself dancing to it in a club. Afrojack is always a good addition and the mixing itself was pretty drat tight so yeah, not bad overall :)

What's the verdict?

The ''whoosh'' effect gets really annoying after a while. As for stompy heavy electro, it's neither electro nor stompy. You missed the mark by a country mile there. That said, there's something about it that I actually DO like, but i'm not quite sure what (please don't take this personally.)

Swire's been teasing out the new Knife Party album, I'm pretty excited to hear what they've been up to. The last album was pretty dubsteppy and I ended up not being too into it, but this November album seems to be shaping up to be really great.

https://soundcloud.com/robswire/knife-party-404-teaser

I'm really excited for Abandon Ship to drop, but it seems that Rob Swire has gone a tiny bit mental with the newer material as it sounds pretty Pendulum-y in parts.

Boss Mode is basically an unused Pendulum track from Immersion until it goes into Moombahton
