I'm not sure if this is a super good deal, but it certainly seems like a lot of bike for $5000.

A used 2006 VFR for $7500 is a good deal, right guys? :downs:

this is 2006 honda vfr has 3600 miles on it. i changed windshield to a tinted one and has two brothers twin exhausts which is top of the line. sound awesome that you will fall in love with it. also this bike runs only with 2 cylinder while you are riding low rpm but its v4 v-tech engine so v-tech kicks in after 6600rpm then you are flying so must be careful because it kicks it so strong. both head light comes on at the same time so visibility is very high. has lower seat than other super sporty bikes so your back wont hurt after a long~~ ride. color is pearl white so its beautiful and rare. rear wheel is held by single strut so it makes the bike special like bmw high end sport bikes. you will love it once you see it and ride it. its also honda so its maintenance free. also it runs 50mile per gallon so thats plus for the bike~ im only selling the bike only because i lost interest. as you can see, its got only 3600mile on it till now~ also it has stock pearl white matching color carriage that goes on both side of the bike so you can put things in there. each one is big enough to put a helmet so its cool. as you can see the picture there is a metal wreck under the seat which looks great too. thats where it goes each side. it has been always kept in my garage. it feels good and fun so let me know only if you are serious~! thanks~! this is my email xxxxx@xxxxx.com
Better be careful when the v-techs kick in yo.

Anybody think this is a terrible idea? If I can get it for $400 or so would this be a good deal? I kinda want a newer bike than my 80 CB750F and I live in Los Angeles so it's always riding season.
If it starts, that's probably not a bad idea at all.

That's hilariously overpriced. I'm going to ask $3000 for mine in the spring, and *that's* overpriced.

DC area or I'd take you up on it! My big problem is really that I don't have a garage so I have to do it outside, and it's gotten cold enough for my Floridian rear end to not want to be there any more than I have to.

I'll give you a hand with that clutch if you want. It'd be better for me after the holidays. I've got 3 bike projects; 2 need to be done by new years.
PM me if you want.
I'd love to, but I can't actually get it there as I don't have a car, much less a trailer, and it's not rideable as is (letting off the lever even a slight bit is enough for the clutch to engage, at which point is stalls out).

Endless Mike

I live in Arlington. Pros: It's easy to get around and park a motorcycle. You don't really need a vehicle, in general, so having something for pleasure is pretty cool.
Cons: It's at least an hour of lovely highway to get to anything interesting.

GnarlyCharlie4u posted:

Ironically I consider Arlington "something to do" so I usually make the 40 minute trek up that way to do "anything interesting".

This is also true of pretty much all of nova. You're pretty much an hour from whatever it is you want to do, no matter where you are.
By "anything interesting" I meant in terms of riding. In terms of stuff to do, DC is just a quick Metro or cab ride away.
