So Senses Fail just finished touring with bayside but for some reason they are playing in my city tonight at some small venue and I don't know with who. I am excited and found my 187 t shirt from like 13 years ago.. I've heard Bubby has gotten kinda preachy at his shows but drat am I giddy as hell. Silverstein and Senses Fail concerts in the same year along with secrets and Alesana!!!!

Silverstein and Senses Fail concerts in the same year along with secrets and Alesana!!!! I saw them and Bayside in Boston with a couple friends last week. Buddy Nielson was absolutely ridiculous live, doing cartwheels and juggling his mic/throwing it out into the audience to throw back to him. He was by far the most entertaining part of the show. He preached a little bit but they were both pretty cool speeches honestly. You won't be disappointed I'm sure. Also like Rageaholic Monkey said, their new stuff is a lot heavier, but that's a good thing in my opinion. Firecube fucked around with this message at 21:19 on Apr 6, 2015 |

new neck deep album is pretty alright but there's three or four tracks that stand head and shoulders above the other tracks still jocking the new hit the lights hard though

There are some fantastic tracks on the new Wonder Years album and then some that are just really boring and uninspired.

The opening > Cardinals is fantastic, I Don't Like is fantastic, The Bluest Things I really love (which everyone else seems to hate), Thanks for the Ride is catchy but sounds like it could have just been on Upsides, Brave is just alright. The weird thing is that I think Cardinals and I Don't Like both might be in their top 5 songs.

I wish I liked it more than I did. So much of it is great but then there's something like Song For Ernest Hemingway that I have no real interest in hearing again. Not really a fan of their political lyrics too, although maybe I'm subconsciously inspired by that cringeworthy interview quote where Soupy is all like "yeah I want these lyrics to make people think about stuff and then google it and learn more" because come on
