Ocarina of Time had a dumb rumor about the original Spirit Temple music being removed because it gave kids nightmares. The real reason it was removed was because it contained a verse from the Koran in the chanting, so naturally Muslims got pissed off. It was the fire temple, and yes it had some bits of a muslim call to prayer in it. That reminded me, waaay back at the dawn of time, a demo for Marathon got released, v 0.0. After awhile posts started flowing in about voices coming from the walls, but it was seemingly inconsistent so it took some time to figure out that it was actually an enemy trapped inside a pillar. Okay mystery solved, except instead of simply accidentally spawning the enemy there like you'd expect, it was actually a weird bug that caused the pillar to suck up the enemy occasionally. Internet spook analyzers are a frustrating bunch because whenever you get one that doesn't have a godawful voice affectation you get poo poo analysis (nexpro concluding local58 is about aliens and the horror of the Contingency video is that people might have killed themselves accidentally) Paparazi was basically a demo meant to make a point about the paparazzi, cranked out by a company that made VERY strange FPS games.
