I don't even remember the main plot from when the PS1 game came out. The stories that stuck with me are the rain turning people to statues, the robot war, Linda and Pepe, the town that keeps getting destroyed for various reasons, and the good pet monster that all the townspeople turn against. Oh and Dis Astranagant, you don't know me, I'm sure, but thanks again for recommending Nier to me years ago. Now I have two Nier games in my all time top ten (not just RPGs) because of you.

Hard does not actually make Trails hard. It just makes battles take much much longer as your swords are useless and you have to keep going back to town often to recharge magic. It made me hate the game as I've went to before. Change it now. Hard mode for Trails was only bearable in the beginning. It will become such torture later on. (And not because it's difficult, it never is that, just tedious)

The kids killed Lost Odyssey for me. Also the gameplay. Every battle was taking multiple turns and I got so tired of watching the same long animations. I really liked the first disc. It was okay.

Cross just needed a real remake where the whole story isn't told at the end in text dumps. There was a lot of interesting stuff in it, interesting gameplay, of course one of the best soundtracks ever, it just needed a lot more work for the story to be better told. Maybe we could have some better more likable characters. It was like a decent 1st draft at that could later become a great game Also storywise it's a really lovely conclusion to the Chrono universe. I like the idea that a 3rd game would have blended both Trigger and Cross together more and have been more satisfying
