Gooseish posted:Hey all, I've started using LSDJ to compose game music for a pet project I've been working on. I'm pretty new to songwriting so any feedback or criticism would be greatly appreciated. Something I realized after uploading a few tracks on soundcloud is that it's important to adjust the level of your recording because here it's really too low. Depending on what you are using for recording there are some options to increase the input gain. You can also boost the volume with a simple free program like audacity. It can automatically adjust the level of your track with functions like Amplify and Normalize. Otherwise I like the chiptune sounds but I think it would benefits from another voice like a bassline or a lead with a higher octave to add some depth to the song.
