Just starting out at the moment so it's unlikely to blow you away as compared to some of the others in this thread. I have one of my friends tutoring me in various things with the producing software that I have so hopefully I'll be able to improve quickly. I seem to have more of a knack for making ambient stuff but it strikes me as being far too "easy". Also have some stuff i'd provisionally label as DnB for a lack of a better fit.

You could probably add some really subtle stuff to your ambient tracks if you think they're too easy. I think a couple well-placed piano notes or strings swells could really take you places.

I know this was a while back but that advice was good even if I haven't been able to put it into practice yet. I'm terrible at making good piano notes :(
