It's been a while since I've been around, and I've been working my rear end off with this whole DJ/Producer thing. Along the way, I've played several shows, got added to a record label that barely pays attention to me, and have produced a ton of music, mainly Dubstep and Drum n Bass. With that here is my soundcloud, with a bunch of tracks I've recently produced.

I really like Just one second. Its pretty cheesy, but theres just something about it... Following and looking forward to hearing you develop

Cheers man, thanks for the compliment. Too bad I lost the project file for the Just One Second remix... :( It's one of my favorites and I wasn't anywhere near done with it. I plan on remaking it sometime.

And yeah I'm trying my hardest to improve my sound! Especially my sequencing and mixing.

also, cubicle gangster... drat, you're sick at mixing bro. Nice tunes.

So, I decided to try and make a DnB type of thing. Didn't quite work out but I did end up with this:

I'm fairly happy with it. Not sure if it's DnB or what though :)

Pretty interesting sound dude! I like how messy the break is. Overall very unique and I dig it. Ending feels a bit abrupt though, haha. Definitely props for making whatever the hell you feel like, I definitely could use a bit of that mentality

Since someone else posted a Spotify link... Here's a song I just released a week or so ago. Kind of along the lines of post-rock but with an 808 and electronic drum samples and some other stuff. That's really the only genre I can think of. Maybe some very slight math rock vibes when it comes to the guitar riffs? Regardless it's probably my favorite song I've ever made (my latest song always is :v:) and any feedback is welcome!

Disclaimer: I'm still working with a ~$200 electric guitar that's set up like poo poo so the tone isn't the best. I'll be buying a much better guitar very soon which should make a huge difference in my music. But I think I'm making do alright for now :)

I don't share my music much, and now I have a soundcloud. First opinion I got about this is that they hated it. :) I expect people to not like it, but I wasn't ready for that. Gotta get used to it! Rip me apart, I guess.

someone help me describe this song, it's definitely one of my favorite things I've ever made but I have absolutely no idea how to classify it. I feel like it belongs in like a racing video game or something?? Maybe kind of a future bass influence? I'm truly at a loss :smith:

Great use of space. I like the way it dances around the back-beat, and how that sets the little runs apart from the beat. Very musical. It does sound like some kind of background music, as there isn't a particular hook present (though the bass line makes it compelling anyway.)

In the absence of a hook/main riff/thematic melody I'd build it up to something a little crazier and let it spool out after. It's a little bit level at the moment. Still obviously musical, with a voice.

Thanks for the thoughts! I definitely agree on your points. As I was making it I was intending on getting some vocals on it, but I ended up liking it so much (and it's pretty busy, to be honest. I'd have a hard time finding someone who could sound good on it) that I basically changed my mind and think I'm going to keep it an instrumental, haha.

Listening to it by itself it definitely gets pretty boring around halfway through, I'll see if I can get creative with that section, and probably come up with an actual outro. Cheers!

Oh and as far as a genre goes I'm almost leaning towards it just being slow dnb at this point. It's the closest I can think of.
