Simple enough way to end the league right now fair and square. A team carries its last season position and passes it on to whoever defeats them. I.e. Liverpool were 2nd last year and they retained it all season until Watford took it off them, and then Palace beat Watford. This works for all placing except relegation spots. The method is reversed for relegation, where the three promoted teams carry a 'relegation' tag and passes it on to whoever they beat. Here are the results: CHAMPIONS & TOP FOUR 2019/2020 Champions & UCL: Crystal Palace Norwich beat reigning champions City Burnley beat Norwich Leicester beat Burnley City took it back from Leicester Wolves beat City Liverpool beat Wolves Watford beat Liverpool Crystal Palace beat Watford Runners-up & UCL: Crystal Palace Watford beat last year's runners-up Liverpool Watford beat Liverpool Crystal Palace beat Watford 3rd Place & UCL: Crystal Palace Man Utd beat last year's 3rd-placed team Chelsea on the opening day Palace took it off Man Utd Spurs beat Palace Leicester beat Spurs Liverpool smashed Leicester 4-0 Watford beat Liverpool Palace beat Watford 4th Place: Crystal Palace Newcastle beat last year's 4th-placed team Spurs Liverpool beat Newcastle Watford beat Liverpool Palace beat Watford 5th Place & UEL: Crystal Palace Liverpool beat last year's 5th-placed team Arsenal Watford beat Liverpool Palace beat Watford 6th Place & UEL: Crystal Palace Palace beat last season's 6th-placed team Man Utd in August Spurs beat Palace Leicester beat Spurs Liverpool beat Leicester Watford beat Leicester Palace beat Watford RELEGATION Brighton Villa beat Everton, who beat Wolves, who finally got a win against Watford, who beat Norwich* in November, who then beat Everton, who then beat Chelsea, who beat Spurs the first time in December, who beat Brighton, who beat Bournemouth, who were winless in the league until they met Brighton again. Brighton Norwich beat Newcastle, who then gave it to Spurs, who gave it to Palace, who beat Norwich*, which leads to the same sequence as above. Spurs They beat Palace, who then beat who beat Man Utd, who beat Leicester, who then beat Spurs, who beat Southampton, who held it until they beat Watford in December, who then beat Man Utd, who then gave it to Newcastle, who beat Chelsea, who then beat Spurs the second time in February, who now holds it. SUMMARY - Palace are champions and go straight to UCL semi finals due to qualifying for UCL 4 times over - Spurs relegated to the Championship - Brighton relegated twice to League One - Palace beat Watford *** TL;DR Palace beat Watford

Arsenal are some bad fail for sure but I'm not convinced that someone having a bad mental health time is particularly hilarious, no matter the cause.

The 2003 attempt is much better, at least the majority of the players had solid international careers.
