I vaguely recall a goon being in Cyanotic. Is that a thing?

If yes I'll see you in like half an hour I guess

I believe Twiin has worked with Cyanotic at times but I don't know if that's ongoing.

Ahh okay, that's probably what I was thinking of.

$15 for A Primitive Evolution, Cyanotic, and PIG is a loving steal, I'm shocked by how thin the crowd is. Granted, I think the show was only announced a couple weeks ago and it's Sunday, but still. There's less than 50 people here.

How do you live in Tampa and not see 00tz-00tz AND miss the Hocico show :psyduck:

Does Moris Blak ever like...tour? The only date I see is SXSW. The Irregularity Of Being is extremely my poo poo.

Communion After Dark put me on to Wolfchild as well and their LP is nigh loving impossible to buy. I get that not everyone likes digital distribution but holy poo poo let Americans buy your music somehow. :negative:

I did see 00tz 00tz! When they opened for Leather Strip. My friend actually plays synth for them when they play live. I missed Hocico because I just moved here a year ago and wasn’t in my concert groove and hadn’t really listened then until like two weeks AFTER they came to town. I was so pissed when I realized my error.

I am also pissed on your behalf. Hocico owns and they're like, never on the East coast on the rare occasion they tour US at all.

Bandcamp is usually your best bet. I can always ask one of my friends too if there’s something you’re really unable to find. There’s this one song by Tulipe Noir that I just LOVE but like only my friend has it because apparently the artist took it down in the hopes of a record deal or something,

And yeah, apparently the Hocico show was their only Florida date.

I’m looking forward to some cool shows in 2020 though, I know some people are trying to promote the dark-electro/industrial scene more (Like DJ IVNX and DJ Veine especially)

That sxsw showcase is going to be amazing though. I just saw Mr.Kitty, Pastel Ghost and Culttastic and it was one of the best shows I’ve been to hands down

They (unfortunately) don't have a Bandcamp presence but their (Hungarian) label got back to me today to purchase a CD. 17 EUR for the CD inc'l shipping + VAT isn't bad, I'm just glad I could get it.

There was a screen grab from a conversation with Lucia from KMFDM that basically said, "They don't call it sex, drugs, and rock and roll for nothing."
This is why we can't have nice things.

I saw <PIG> with En Esch and Skold last year. After <PIG> I commented to a friend of mine that I saw the good parts of KMFDM and had no need to see an actual KMFDM show again accordingly. Good to see I was correct.

Bandcamp is doing another revenue share waive this Friday, 5/1. Great time to pick up some new artists and support ones you already love!

I'd like to re-recommend:

And One's lyrics have always been hard to put a finger on one side or the other but drat didn't know he was that far right, I wouldn't have guessed from just the music alone. I don't really care about the personal beliefs of a band over my own or anything it's not like I'm going to stop listening to the stuff I like

I've always just chalked it up to a "ehhhhn..." command of English.

My personal philosophy is that you shouldn't financially support bands, authors, etc. that have morally reprehensible viewpoints or have been credibly accused of gross misconduct. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy their art, take that to mean what you will.
