Okay, I'm interested. :allears:

Don't forget also Cheryl Wilson (XTORT) is also on here too.

So we will get 2 decent tracks at least and the rest will be Lucia filler.

Anyone else have any impressions on the new 3TEETH album? I'm 100% enjoying it, a lot of people giving Alexis poo poo for trying out new vocal styles all the time but I feel like it just gives variety over the length of a full album.

It's been years, if not decades, that I've been interested in an album that's newly released - is it common that there's some delay before it's available on bandcamp? Or is it just still unavailable when you're browsing from Europe? I don't see it on 3teeth.org either.

They are on Century Records now so I don't think they'll be putting it on bandcamp but they did release it on youtube

it wasn't good.

The songs where the guitars came out were really good mostly because of the new guitarist but once they faded out it was pretty generic stuff again.

I didn't know the backstory between Claus and Kurt (didn't realized they were married) so yeah that makes the news even sadder, Self-Inflicted was one of the first albums I purchased in my youth outside of KMFDM.

It's going to be either amazing for all the right reasons, or not good for all the wrong reasons. I'm gonna give it a shot for Kurt.

What are you right and wrong reasons?

Doing faithful covers of those tracks with some stylistic nuance just seem like the wrong reasons to me. :(

It was one of the last things he did along side his husband who passed away in September and it was something they wanted to do together.

So right reason it'll be good because it obviously meant a lot to both of them.

Not good for the wrong reason that Claus maybe couldn't focus on it as much as he would have liked while taking care of Kurt.

I'm listening to it now. The version of Nature's Revenge is great. What always made me fascinated by industrial music is how strange it is but how complex it can be on the level of texture, so it's like hearing that texture from a slightly different angle.

the synth used on the main bassline in the Nature's Revenge cover jiggles my dick. It's amazing

I'm on a roll with these god drat 90s industrial metal shirts

I bought this same shirt at the first concert I went to, in 1997 or so. I was looking around and found a couple on eBay for $80 and thought "gently caress no, for Watts, sure, but not for fuckin GK" but then googling the actual name of the shirt (based on the eBay listings) led me to, what seems to be, a loving t-shirt vendor that's got 25-30 year old stock. This was purchased as "new" for $18 and seems unworn, original tags, etc. They said they had two in stock and I tried to buy both; one was refunded as not actually being there.

For all I know, I have purchased the last ever, new-unworn Gravity Kills Down Arrow shirt

what a time to be alive

drat what a snag, also made me throw the album on
