I think that Android is poised to pick up alot of frustrated 3GS users who were expecting the 5 to drop today. Especially with the new powerhouses coming to nearly every carrier.

I thought I saw a nice little release timeline that had details of the data plan on it but I can't seem to find it in this thread. Anyone know what I'm talking about? It put the end of the promotion at the beginning of December. Maybe I'm remembering wrong.

Aside from the NFC functionality, please tell me why I should or shouldn't just get the RAZR over the Nexus?

I'm trying to weigh my options and saving $600 might push me over the edge. How limited am I going to be with a manufacturer's UI?

LTE launches on AT&T within the month in New York City. I have been waiting for the nexus to come out to make the switch for my wife and I. But considering that the Galaxy S2 has NFC and LTE I see no reason to wait for the nexus.

Yes I certainly would like to be on the bleeding edge of it, but I don't absolutely need Ice Cream Sandwich RIGHT NOW. I've been on a iphone 3G that has been crippled since before ios4 came out. I think I can wait 3 months for ICS.

I would have to hack the nexus to get google wallet to work on there anyway, just like I'll have to hack the galaxy s2.

Oh yeah, AT&T is also running the first cell towers in the subway, on my line.

This LTE announcement just sealed the deal. Unless someone can convince me otherwise I think I'm going to stick with AT&T.

EDIT: Infact I should have dont the free amazon phone deal. gently caress.
