And where did that number come from? One of the things I learned in college is that most college's athletic departments run at a net loss, so the school has to take money out of its operating budget (the thing that pays teachers) to bail them out. Now according to this, Auburn's athletic department ran at a net profit of $2 million for '09-'10, but that's not exactly a margin I'd like to rely on, and the amount of education the university could buy for that much is probably not a whole hell of a lot.

I'm guessing they got blackout drunk after the Browns game to completely wipe any memories of it, then today they were doing a lot of tailgating and didn't sober up until the 2nd quarter, so it was as if they'd never seen him play before. Only explanation I can think of that doesn't give me an aneurysm.

I just remembered this one. During the '09 season, I was leaving work one day to go to lunch and I had my Seahawks hoodie on. Guy walks past me, says something about the last game (seeing as we went 5-11, it was probably a loss), then says "I want to kill Jim Mora". Completely deadpan, no hint of sarcasm or joking at all.
