this is from thesabre.com's bball message board, we were talking about the 2003 ACC expansion for football:

Yeah, lets just overlook the then national powerhouse that averaged 10 wins over 20 years and was in NINE national championship games. Lets not try to set up two football divisions with two of the three most dominant football programs of the 80s and 90s. Instead lets take the backwater school with one MNC appearance, ever, and not add a championship game.
