New Deicide is pretty excellent. The bass sounds especially awesome. Their entire discography in general has been pretty relatable. Shame about the artwork on the new record though.

I saw them on this same tour. It was 2008 or 2009 right? I remember somebody crowdsurfed and got thrown against the stage comically. Mikael corpsed and they had to keep playing mellotron until he regained composure. This was like immediately after he told a story about the dangers of crowdsurfing.

Edit: also lol

and holy poo poo :perfect:

i really don't give a poo poo if he used the AI feature in photoshop to generate parts of the image for his own band's artwork, especially since he was just gonna do it all himself anyway. but i'm actually glad he did it now because it leads him to believe that he is a cutting edge tech wizard that was doing 3d art before anyone else in 1992 when "computers were new" jesus christ you can't make this stuff up.

when apple slaps the "pro" name on products not for actual world class professional software devs, or video/photo editors, but to just sell the illusion of prestige to regular people so they pay more, glen benton is exactly the kind of customer they're targeting.

and it's ironic bc he's actually in a very famous metal band but loving still thinks owning an ipad pro makes him elite or some poo poo god drat it lol.
