Hendrik Möbus (of Absurd and also a convicted murderer) was at an underground black metal festival there, earlier this year. Apparently he was handing out fliers for the Hot Shower NSBM festival. Some local black bloc dudes got wind of this, and decided to crash the party. They peppersprayed him and beat him the gently caress up, leaving him to wash out his eyes with dirty gutter water.

It caused a bit of a minor shitstorm among a certain segment of the local metal scene, ironically the same people who love to proclaim how the NS scene is "not a safe space" :v:

This was the fest in Copenhagen yeah? I heard about that, sounded very gnarly.

Whisper Supremacy is really good, then they kinda go to poo poo for a long time. The 2 new Tome EPs are both good, though.

Both NSV and WS are about as solid as it gets. Never understood the hate WS got from some people.

Some of the guys in Cryptopsy run a microbrew pub in Montreal now, should be interesting

There's probably beliefs as wacky as Qanon stuff in a lot of metal band lineups, doesn't really seem like it would be a problem if your main interaction with the person is just playing an instrument and drinking beer.

Nevermind the fact that there has been a ton of bands over the years that have toured together, etc despite members hating each other's guts. There's a lot people will put up with if they think they've got a good thing going with the band.
