All this talk of Peas, Pasta and Comedy makes me think of Eddie Izzard and Darth Vader. "You can't have PEAS in Penne a la Arabiata, don't you know who I am?! Do the Right Thing and Pappy's are both great. This thread is revealing even more great British comedy. I don't know why but I am addicted to mock panel game shows going back to the first broadcasts of I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue (I'm really old.)

Another one for lovers of UK comedy would be Peacock and Gamble, although the current podcast run is at an end all the stuff is up on their site. They are not to dissimilar to a more sweary Adam and Joe, which is no bad thing.

I tried Peacock and Gamble a few years ago, and it mainly seemed to be two men bullying a third man for having "ruined Eastenders" and calling him a paedophile. Has it got better?

I listened to the last 4 in the series and it made me laugh a lot, especially the Eat the world segment in the last ep. Still not the Bugle or A&J though.

The bit after Andy's spurting about the Harlequin's winning the rugby? It's just John's last line ("Rugby was the winner Andy, Rugby and the 'Quins") repeated with some other effects on top. I think it's meant to evoke a cassette tape as you're ejecting it. Anyway some wanky transition Chris put in because apparently there weren't enough swears to keep him busy.
