From what I understand, it was more that Auckerman and someone else were joint creators of Comedy Death Ray, and they had a bit of a falling out, so Auckerman switched the name to make it his own project. e: That someone else was B.J. Porter. Wikipedia has no information regarding the name change other than the fact that it happened.

Seth Morris looks exactly the way I imagine Bob Ducca would. Wow. Also, they likely will be premium episodes. Not sure if I'll buy them if they don't have Paul F. Tompkins.

I'd never heard that character before, and now I hope to never hear him again. The voice itself was interesting and comical, but he didn't really do much with it. There's not much one can do with disgusting food bits.

In the "No characters" scenario, does that also apply to Bob Ducca, who now has his own podcast, or to the characters portrayed by Paul F. Tompkins, who also exist in his own podcast?

Farts and Procreation is an abosulte must, as it gives you a great primer for Harris Wittels. It is the episode that made me get into CBB, and I still love his Jack from the Lumber Yard bit.

Going into this epsiode having not really having idea who anyone on the list was, I found this week's to be pretty entertaining. Amy Phillips needs to work on some more interesting, or at least distinct (her Liza Minelli was great), characters, but she was pretty good for the most part. Andy was a hoot, and Loudoun's music was alright. Good episode overall. Also, I managed to get two consecutive chatchphrases! I didn't even know that could happen!

I'm often playing a game while listening, so backing out and losing whatever progress I had is normally far more trouble than just sitting through the ads. I don't mind the LegalZoom ones since Scott's doing them and he changes them up often enough, but the Pepsi Next one has been there for a few weeks now and it's been the same one every time. It's also in improv4humans and I assume every other Earwolf podcast.

I don't mind Tim so long as he's not stepping on the toes of the other guests. He was great when he was on with Eric since they have the same style and everything, but the episode where he was on to help announce the tour felt long and kinda forgettable since the show had to stop every few minutes for him to say some dumb thing. I would hope he's better on stage with so many different people. Or that he's not on stage at all and is only involved because it's technically a tour for the TV show, and Abso-lutely is his company.
