I had to find a link to it on the Rogan forums since they blocked it, but the Daryl Wright/porn star one wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. Does anyone have a link to the Bone Zone #5? By all accounts that one was a complete train wreck and they immediately banned the guy that re-posted it on Rogan's board. edit: Here's the Daryl Wright one if anyone is interested: http://tinyurl.com/IceHouseChronicles Dip Facial fucked around with this message at 09:38 on Dec 19, 2011 |

Evil Agita posted:What happened on the bone zone #5 or whatever? Brendon Walsh drunkenly falling over and calling people "niggers" is what I've seen online. They pulled it immediately and banned anyone that posted links. If you have one, please PM me.

Good lord are the people on Rogan's board a bunch of cunts. It's like at least a 10:1 ratio of shitposting to actual posting, but this one guy basically nailed it on the head in regards to the AlphaBrain thing. They hired some dude as "Scientific Advisor" who has a BS from Brown (sorry for the wall of text but you need an account to view): JamesMMA posted:As far as the new "advisor" to the company, while I don't have any particular want or need to be uncouth as I don't know him, but the fact that someone with only a bachelor's degree in a field as esoteric and complex as neuroscience is being called a scientific advisor says quite a few things, among them being that Mr. Marcus has questionable judgement when it comes to what actually is expert scientific advisement. Again, not anything against the gentlemen in question, but as a more general claim in this context. If you want a real scientific advisor you find someone with some real and significant credentials and who is respected within the neuroscientific community. Someone with only a bachelors degree simply does not have the grasp of the nuances and even the total base knowledge to deal with the complexities of the neurological and physiological (and even psychological) components at play, not because he isn't intelligent, because he probably is, but even for a very intelligent person it simply isn't enough time to get a good understanding of everything involved (unless you're something of a savant). tl;dr, make it yourself and eat at Olive Garden.

Duncan's Graham Hancock episode was great. That guy sure can talk. I cracked up a couple times at Duncan just not being able to get a word in.

Rogan seemed overly argumentative with that Damer guy. I understand playing devil's advocate but goddamn did it get tiresome once he mentioned the singularity.

I just heard of some podcast called "The Dollop" and the one about John Lilly is amazing. It's like this thread's opinion personified.
