Last week my washing machine broke. So I ordered a new one with Altger�temitnahme. Today the Hermes guys arrived and showed me a print out that said that because of Corona they can put the new one in my flat, but won't touch or take the old one with them. Now my broken rear end washing machine is still blocking my bathroom while the new one is sitting smugly in my not overly huge kitchen, being worthless. Thanks Corona virus! :v:

As long as this doesn't cost me my job, I fully realize that I am in a very privileged position here: I thoroughly enjoy the current situation. While I do miss meeting friends, the way everything has slowed down and not having to drive to work every day has an extremely soothing effect on me. I am very happy. If this was just about me, this could go on for many months more. :toot:
