Fallout 3 / aged like milk but offers a ton of places to explore,crap story with plotholes that a supermutant behemoth could fit through,great atmosphere though.loving awful DLC though,mothership zeta is genuinely offensively bad.Followers are good. New vegas / technically a much better game with better story,characters,weapons and in depth gameplay,map’s not as fun to get lost in as 3 though.All the DLC’s are top tier even with their faults.Followers are far more fleshed out but i do miss charon.

Point lookout was great to explore but also completely broken in terms of enemy health and weapon damage* *The double barreled shotgun would either do like 100 damage or 5 depending on if the weather was good that day or if your enemy just decided “hey i don’t believe shotguns are even real man”.

This playthrough of mine is going to be “no-one knows what’s good for new vegas except me the courier” Caesar’s going to get it NCR will be tolerated until general oliver shows his face,then i’ll be killing or fusrodahing him back where he came from House will be used then disposed of and i’ll keep the securitrons thank you. Everyone else will fall in line. Also i was thinking a funny future fallout intro would be beat for beat remake of FO3 vault but every year that passes everyone mutates just a bit more until your 18th birthday is just you sat at a birthday table surrounded by corpses wearing birthday hats.

Making my way to Novac and there’s that travelling merchant group who get into a few scraps with legion and vipers as i’m walking with them,just outside novac a legion assassin squad attacks me and the merchants and i use every bit of ammo and explosives i have and they still pushed me miles back. As i’m stood looking at about 20 bodies another assassin squad runs down the road and kills me so fast i’m surprised the game didn’t crash. Best game ever.

Planning on doing all the DLC’s before any major story advancement cause i want to see the dialogue options amongst the big players. Starting with Honest hearts and drat the environment looks so nice,real lush.

Honest hearts was ok but had problems. No good trading,you can only trade with joshua and daniel who barely have any caps,which means you’ll be racking up items. Followers leaving you and dumping all their items on you. The final battle has you run across the map and stops you from fast travelling there,then the actual final fight sucks and the choice of fighting or escaping had no impact. Great map,really liked the “father” story.

Something has happened mod wise that means legion assassins run up to me (not hostile) and then either stand still or run away at lightning speed. I am (not in any way connected) suddenly very rich and full of weapons and legion denarius.

I always liked how the main characters go: Vault dweller/???/warrior/wanderer/courier/sole survivor/ But then i guess the second game is the chosen one which throws the whole thing off,poo poo.Guess he/she could be the driver or granddaughter/rejuvenator. The scavenger - as the head (or citizen) of a settlement you get tasked with going out into the wastes,stripping Vaults of their tech and using your skills to bring those pieces back to the settlement before you all perish/get overrun/kill each other this puts you at odds with the rest of the map who want that stuff as well. The gun runner - everybody wants what you're selling,the people you trade with are going to arm themselves and pick their sides regardless,better make it your side. The exterminator - as part of a new (semi enclave) group it's up to you to bring order to the wastes either with a gun or a handshake (yes i do want a judge dredd game why do you ask?) This would all be in a new location that's only recently settled so it would be fresh to plunder.

In a (my) perfect world we’d have a fallout game with the writing of Disco elysium,multiple characters and when one part ends you move on to the next one. Characters might die or carry on their stories depending on actions taken.
