Dunno how you guys did that with those Civic's... but keeping with the Honda theme for that track: 1:39.474 [C425] Honda Prelude There's a couple more tenth's in there somewhere but gently caress that noise, had to make it RWD as well as I can't do a FWD car fast. 1:26.618 [R3 800] Gallardo LP570 Just snuck that one under PSBonnet's Speed12 time  Both times are on the leaderboards.

A lot of people who have been participating have said they're unable to make times due to the holiday weekend, so if no one protests, I think we can extend this week until Wednesday the 23rd at midnight central us time.

I finally brought a Microsoft wheel to get some more life out of Forza and when I left off the gas the game automatically brakes for me. What do I need to fix? I am going to just assume this is a common problem.

I kept my MS Wheel alive with epoxy and model part splines and white lithium grease when a paddle shifter broke. I definitely want something nicer.

Did another test with the driving data on. If the gas pedal returns to home the brake pedal registers 50%.

I haven't checked, but since they've been discontinued for so long, you can find them used all over the place. What condition they're in, well, you just found out the hard way I think. It's a crap shoot. I have a spare that I took it off a buddy who no longer has a 360. I've moved on to the XBox One and FM5 though, so I have them in storage. I've learned to drive with a controller (I only ever did that in arcadey games like NFS) and am just waiting to have the spare cash to grab an XBox One wheel, of which there are only two reasonable options right now. Good luck with your pedals, you may find a mechanical issue you can fix yourself. I hope so. Sometimes, Google/YouTube solves everything.

I fixed the pedals with an expertly placed piece of vacuum hose. Now I am going TANK SLAPPER CRAZY. Holy moly I am driving like poo poo with the wheel.

Set the steering to simulation and make sure you tune your cars. You'll get the hang of it. 270 degrees seems to work best, make sure it's set properly in the settings.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is next weekend. Are there enough people interested to do a Le Mans race at some point this week? 1 hour or something with a split of LMP and GT cars like we did last year? Also we'll be chatting in #nascar on synIRC during the 24 next weekend, as that channel has (somehow) become the default channel for all non-IndyCar and non-F1 races, so if you want to watch it and hyuck it up with a bunch of sleep-deprived idiots, feel free to join! Hopefully the 24 is as exciting as last year's was, except with 100% fewer deaths.
