I had a roomba and it was one of the old ones-- pretty medicore navigation, couldn't plug himself back in after the battery died, and the brushes needed to be cleaned constantly, especially at my parents where there were multiple dogs. I have a Neato XV21 now and he navigates a lot better, can recharge and finish cleaning, and the brushes really don't track too much hair on them because there is a much more powerful vacuum.
