Corbet posted:Anybody interested in Jolly Pumpkin La Roja Grand Reserve or Dark Horse Bourbon Barrel Aged Plead the Fifth? I have a bunch of good stuff (MN and WI especially, Surly, New Glarus, etc) that I'd trade for BA Plead the 5th. Haven't done any trades through here yet, but have done plenty on BA back when that was the thing to do.

Zam posted:I know people have mixed feelings on Lost Abbey, but I have 2-3 bottles of 2011 Cuvee de Tomme for trade. Looking for special/limited release beers outside of San Diego distribution. I also have limited access to Lost Abbey Deliverance right now. Any interest in Central Waters Exodus for one of these? The reviews are a bit scattered, the bottle I opened yesterday was supremely sour and funky, with some cherry notes. I wouldn't call it a flanders at all.

FreelanceSocialist posted:I have approximately a case of Maine Beer Co. Lunch IPA, bottled 10/14/12. It's going to go fast (mostly because I am drinking it all), so if you're watching this thread and want some, let me know ASAP. I am interested in local beers from your area. I can do MN/WI beers including Surly and New Glarus if you're interested.

Kudosx posted:I would just also like to say that I'm very, very interested in a lot of stuff from New Glarus. If any of you are from WI, or have access to New Glarus, and you're interested in trading, please let me know! I can get Raspberry Tart or Serendipity pretty easily and also have some of practically every New Glarus unplugged/thumbprint made in the last few years in my cellar. Last year's Apple Ale, Cherry Stout, Cran-bic (both years actually, the old stuff is really funky, oaky and sour), Enigma, ABT, Barley Wine, Smoked Rye, maybe a Chocolate Abbey or two, even a few bottles of Imperial Saison still. I also have a few cellared bottles of Surly Darkness (09 and maybe 10), and FFF Dark Lord (09-11). What would you want out of that to part with a black note? Also are they 12 oz or bombers?

Bag of Sun Chips posted:Not to hijack the trade that's developing but do you have any New Glarus R&D sours they've made like Kriek, Sour Ale, or Gueuze? I've been meaning to try some, I've only had Enigma. I managed to get my hands on exactly one bottle of gueuze and kriek. They were consumed quite a while ago. Heck I think they were brewed in...2010? Bet they're really funky these days. I missed my shot at the sour ale, sadly.

swickles posted:Hey guys, I am looking for any fruited new glarus beers. Serendipity, Belgian Red, whatever. Its for a friend of mine as a gift becaus eI know he loves that stuff. Looking for like maybe 2-4 bottles and willing to do a $4$ trade with whatever I can get that you can't. I live in South Florida, so I can get Cigar City (excpet Jai Alai for some reason because apparently it has just evaporated, maybe in a few weeks) or a growler of some Funky Buddha stuff or whatever else we get that you don't. I might actually have a New Glarus gift box in my basement. Has room for two bottles of sserendipity/raspberry tart, and two new Glarus logo'd flutes. Problem is, I took the bottles out of it and would need to replace them so it might take a bit to line up a trade.

Did anyone happen to get any bottles of the New Glarus R&D (Specialty) release of Sour Fruit? It's a wild fermented blackberry beer. I'd love to get my hands on a bottle or two.

Bag of Sun Chips posted:If you can pry it from somebody's cold dead hands, by all means get this beer. I had it again over the weekend and it was phenomenal. Very fruit forward with a nice tartness. I think it will be even better when it carbs up a little more and the fruit fades a bit to bring that tartness out some more. Dan even said to wait until at least October, I read.

broom posted:I have one I was thinking about trading, was going to wait until I try my other bottle before I decide though. Did you have something in mind? Nothing specific. It really depends on what you're into. I do have some bomber-sized bottles of Pour Decisions Acerbity (with and without Brett), which is a really great Berliner Weiss. Only a few hundred of that were made. I have some other somewhat limited MN releases as well, like Surly Darkness, Five, and some Brau Brothers stuff I think.

I am in SE MN so Surly, Indeed, New Glarus, Toppling Goliath and lots of others are all possible with a little effort. I have a pretty decent New Glarus Thumbprint cellar, which a few people in here have benefited from.

Munkaboo posted:Color me interested! And yes, I do mean Hardywood. I have plenty of all of this year's Thumbprint beers, other than Scream IIPA and Berliner Weiss. That's Apple Ale, Cran-bic, Oud Bruin, Dubbel and Spiced Ale. All are excellent. I have limited quantities of some past years Cran-Bic, Abt, Wild Sour Ale, maybe Enigma and Cherry Stout. I also have a couple of the larger fruit beer bottles, like Strawberry Rhubarb and maybe Serendipity. If you don't mind waiting a bit to put the trade together, I can pretty easily get whatever you want from them. Indeed is pretty much the new Surly, IMO. Everything they make is solid, but their Day Tripper IPA and Midnight Ryder Black IPA are really excellent. If you've not had any Toppling Goliath yet and you're into the hoppy stuff, I can't recommend them highly enough. They're blowing pretty much everything else out of the water. I can get PseudoSue, Golden Nugget, Dorothy and lately Light Speed are all pretty easy to get, but the rest can be tough if you don't make a trip to the brewery.
