:siren:Attention to those who bought their Transformer Primes from BestBuy.com: :siren:

MicroCenter currently has the Prime available and on sale for $449. I was able to get a $50 price match from Best Buy.

Also, if you don't have a prime you can get one for $449 from MicroCenter!

Edit: I added sirens cause this could be pretty helpful and I didn't want others to miss it.

Helpful pictures of your screen from the last thread

Just want to say thanks for posting those pictures Frozen-Solid. I was going to post my own, but it is clear from your pics that I only have minor light bleed on the right hand side of the screen.

With the $50 price match from Best Buy it's pretty much dumb for me to return my tablet cause a bit of light bleed that I hardly ever notice. That being said, I still want to and it still bugs me that I know my screen isn't perfect. Oh well, I'm happy overall.

So I just got my Prime and I'm enjoying it so far. Can anyone who has gotten a Prime case recommend one. Also what games/emulators are you running. I've been working to get Baldurs Gate 2 up and running with Gemrb. I was wondering if there were any market games worth my time.

I got this case cause it seemed to be the thinnest and looks like its made well.

I also here a bunch about a Poetic case, but it didn't seem to be made as well too me, though it I'd cheaper.

I just got mine, can you list what sort of tests I should do?

Download the ScreenTest app from the market to check for dead pixels and light bleed.
Get Wifi Analyzer to test wifi signal strength all over your house/apartment to make sure it gets good signal.
There are a couple apps to test GPS also. I used GPS test, but don't expect GPS to work on this tablet.

There are also reports of a screens tinted yellow (not as many of those anymore)
Oh, and make sure the unit feels solid. Some people talked about having creaking screens.

That's pretty much it. The major offenders are light bleed, poor wifi, and dead pixels.

Edit: ^^^ oh yeah, reboots after updating to ICS too.

Sick. I love how my desktop windows are automatically synced to the mobile browser. Can't wait to play on it some more to see any other features it has.

Apparently Asus' big announcement for the 29th is going to be... Ethernet Support

C'mon now, there's a bit more than that.

"Users will also be able to control notifications, such as unread messages, directly from the lockscreen, presumably jumping straight into the relevant app and bypassing the homescreen. There’ll be Face Unlock support too."

To get a hold of said GPS offer go to http://vip.asus.com/

Once there, register an account then register your tablet. After you register your tablet, they will automatically redirect you to a page asking for your shipping information. Once you've filled out your shipping information click 'Submit' at the bottom of the application.

I registered my tablet, but did not get redirected to any page asking me for my shipping info. Hopefully I cna find where the hell to fill out the form for my dongle.

Where do you live? I live in the US.

I live in the US as well. Lots of people on XDA are saying that they didn't get the pop up either. I'm not too worried now. It'll work itself out eventually.

So I had an issue happen yesterday morning to my Nexus 7. It is in a case, but I clumsily dropped it like 3 feet onto the ground while trying to plug it in to charge. Once I picked it up, I could not get it to charge or turn on.

I called Google and they said they have a specialist working on sending a replacement. Last night, I tried plugging it in again and it started charging and I was able to power up.

The issue is that it is taking absolutely forever to charge. The power was off and I plugged it in at about 4% battery at 10 pm last night. I woke up in the morning at 6:30 and it was only charged to 32%. I left it charging all day while I was at work and it's only now at 73%. Basically, it had been charging for 20 hours and has gone from 4% to 73%.

Anyone else run into this slow charging issue?

I don't know if this is the case with the N7, but if you are charging it over USB it's slow as hell. Are you charging it through an outlet?

Holy freaking crap. Amazon just gave me a complete refund on my TF201 when I asked about exchanging it because it keeps crashing; refund because they didn't have it in stock.

Which is surprising since I ordered it over 6 months ago.

Yeah, I've heard amazon and best buy are awesome about this. I went in to best buy and complained about my 8 month old tf201's poo poo gps and walked out with a brand new infinity. Manufacturer warranty and all that. It was awesome.
