Recent tune dump:

Eric Sneo & Chris The Voice - Shut Up & Dance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UO06kcRHgBI

This is an absolute slammer, big room techno. Vocals are brilliant as well

Oliver $ & Sqim - Hoes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=De6ACBBy_GU

Heard this in Heidi's set from Paradise, really bouncy tune

German Brigante - Samoa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9TLG_GhPQw

Funky tech-house track, can anyone share any light on the vocal samples?

Green Velvet & Harvard Bass - Lazer Beams https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9dPtjIZmJ0

Green Velvet can't make a bad techno tune at all

Yeah we're seriously considering Germany for NYE now haha

Cool tracks, it's all about the dark hypnotic vibes... Love that distorted metal bass/kick that runs through them both.

Soundcloud has started doing that for me as well, they've got some new copyright detection system in place that immediately deletes unofficial remixes & mixes. Probably better off sticking with Mixcloud instead.

Few of my friends have been to them before and said they're amazing, definitely go to see them if you've got the chance. I need to make some Techno related NYE plans as well.

Chuck us your mix/soundcloud links. Always looking out for more good music.

I didn't at first just because Soundcloud was more popular, but Mixcloud's gotten a lot popular. You can tag individual tracks when they're mixed in, plus when one mix ends a random one of a similar genre plays afterwards. Best bit about this playlist is your mixes will end up being heard by lots of different people.

I deleted all my mixes about a week ago since they were so old / not good. Going to record some newer stuff when uni ends and I've got time, as soon as I get a decent mix recorded I'll post it here!

For the record, het said theres absolutely no way he'd be able to name the thread "Cool Dudes That Know How To Party Megathread" hahaha. The thread name needs to have relevance to newcomers. Any other ideas? (IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS JACK, AND JACK HAD A GROOVE.)

I'm more than happy to help out with it; 28 Gun Bad Boy's OP is nicely laid out like he said so if you want any graphics done for each section then lemme know. That's the one. Yeah it's definitely more mainstream orientated, but the occassional underground / deep tune gets posted in there that would fit in here as well. I'm definitely not completely against a house section here, just figured newer folk might get confused seeing house in 2 different threads. Suppose the OP could include a small line like "if you're looking for more progressive/electro house then check out to the other thread" with a link?

Please post more rude assumptions like that, thanks (also did you really have to resort to "fat chick"?). Have you been to Boiler Room? I've been, and I can tell you that of course you're going to want to dance in front of the camera, because that's what makes Boiler Room special (obviously there are people who don't want to be seen on camera, but can you deny the fact that some will, even if they Like The Music?). Does that mean that she doesn't like the music? Of course not. When MikeQ was on the boiler room, I made sure I was on camera, and it isn't like I don't like MikeQ - I love Mike.

I don't get why you're so defensive about what I said. I thought it was universally accepted that the majority of the people in the Boiler Room crowd are there because of its exclusivity, not the music? You can replace that chick with whoever you like, but if you're dancing to the breakdown in a deep house track as though it's happy hardcore then you're either a bad dancer or trying too hard.

Seems to me like they're just pushing the poppier side of the UK tech house sound that's big right now.

I mean for what it's worth I'm pretty sure I was hearing Latch on Mark Radford's and Dominique Danielle's rinse shows before it hit the charts.

Yeah and the "poppier side of the UK tech house sound" doesn't belong here either. Think of it this way, no big techno DJ is ever going to play that sort've tune in their set.
