Well today was slow at work, and now I read the entire comic. (Yes, very slow at work.) I just caught up in like 3 hours, and now I'm in for the worst part of reading web comics. Waiting for the update schedule.

I will say that I did read this comic just because I heard some Kickstarter was ripping off some Webcomic. When I figured out it was this one, and knew that SA had a thread on it, I figured I'd read it when I got bored.

(Work today is still super slow.)

Does NK have little bitty legs that he's just hovering over? I think you can just barely see them behind his smoke screen in the 3rd to last panel, and this just kindof makes him less intimidating to me. Now he's like only 50 feet tall instead of 100 feet or something.

So I only started reading this a few weeks ago. Does that top banner change with each story arch? It never made any sense to me when I read through all ~470 pages I read up to this storyline, but it makes sense if it changed with the current story arch. That, or I got caught up at a coincidental time.

I don't know, I'd say her putting up the barrier to save the town so that the "heros" can move forward through the "plot" would be a major flaw.

Wow, I missed that when I read that first (but then again, I read this whole comic in one slow day at work). I didn't notice the barrier had the colors of NK, and the oracle just showed up right after that. I thought it was really her, thus her sweating and being exhausted, I thought she just wore herself out overextending herself.

It really makes what Noisemaster said after that make a lot more sense. Thanks.

Welp, GG's got my $80. Can't really pass on all 3 books, plus the bonus Fashion book. (No lie, if I ever have kids, I'm reading them this story when they're young. It seems like it's a good long storybook for them.)

Or she could be asking so that she could counter Glitchmaster's strategy. (I have no real opinion if she's being too loyal to NK or not. Although it would be an interesting direction of the story to all of the sudden to be really fighting the disaster masters, maybe even with the final boss's help.)

I just looked at my RSS feed for this comic, and she's not really able to keep to her "update at least 3 times a week" schedule that she listed as a stretch goal on Kickstarter. The last update was on the 2nd. I haven't seen her update the site with any of these downtimes, and I stopped following her on Twitter. Normally I wouldn't complain about free entertainment, but I did put in $80 towards her Kickstarter for the books.

Oh, I didn't see any news that she was going anywhere. In fact, I'm looking now, and I still don't see anything. After every page is just a comment on the current page, and that's it. This is all I see:

Also there's a demo on the website if you want to try it before you buy it. But keep in mind that the demo was made two years ago, and the game went through a lot of work since. The story, characters, and art improved a lot since. It's more fun then I remember when I first played it years ago.

I got mine today too. If you get an email saying that Cucumber Dressed shipped for you, you're going to get all the books too (I picked the Kickstarter tier that got me all 3 volumes, Dressed, stickers, and postcards).

Yeah I forgot to mention the print. Mine was also beat up a bit, same with the Cucumber Dressed book. The book was just bent and folded a bit, but the poster might have some damage to the print side because of the fold. I'm hoping if I frame it, that it will be hardly noticeable.

The whole package was just in a thick envelope, so not the books could slide around, and it wasn't much protection.
