Well, Splashmaster doesn't have bones, it's only natural he'd be the best at limbo. Although the Nightmare Knight doesn't seem to have legs... or really the entire lower half of his body, so I guess he is probably pretty good at limbo.

Magic swords only work for destined heroes, Cuco! So either you're not one, or you gotta cowboy up and get more heroic. Alternately though, if Oglaf's taught me anything, it's that occasionally a fake sword is the perfect weapon for the job.

Well, if Nautilus' lore is to be believed, Splashmaster and the other Disaster Masters get brought back every time the Nightmare Knight comes back. (Although, given Nautilus' questionable memory of the lore, that may not be correct) So you don't really have to mourn him, he'll be back... whenever Cucumber's grandkid has to do this.

I hope they jump out right as Saturday and the butler jump on, then immediately the bombs go off, leaving them comically burnt. Basically what I'm saying is, if this comic is modeled on a Paper Mario game, I want Saturday to be Bowser or whatever other villain that constantly fails.

Let's talk about Bacon indeed. I'm kind of disappointed the Bacon profile didn't have like, paragraphs on how Bacon is soooo great as I think that woulda been a better gag (if a little too cliched), but I guess the little guy's self-esteem is just that low.

Urdnot Fire posted:Heck, Nightmare Knight's been endearing since he had to put up with Splashmaster's silliness. This probably isn't the most effective set of henchmen he's had. Actually, since Nautilus seemed to know all about Splashmaster from her (admittedly spotty) studies of the ancient lore, I'd say this is the only set of henchmen the Nightmare Knight's ever had, he just has to hope they get more effective every time he and them get resurrected/freed.
