Has it already been a year? Time flies if you're reading an awesome webcomic, kind of wish I still had my old avatar now. Kuriga-san, why did you make me change it?

I for one just hope that Almond spares Splashmaster's life. I think he's adorable, in a giant squidmonster kind of way.

Well, Splashmaster doesn't have bones, it's only natural he'd be the best at limbo. Although the Nightmare Knight doesn't seem to have legs... or really the entire lower half of his body, so I guess he is probably pretty good at limbo.

He has legs, but they are tiny. Advantage or disadvantage?

The Kickstarter is almost at $40,000, so we'll get an exclusive short story.

The Kickstarter is dangerously close to $55,000. I'm not sure yet if updating four times a week will be a good thing for the comic, though. I mean, yeah, more updates but also more stress and less time to work things out in general.

I think if anyone would appreciate a spear that can stab around corners, it would be Carrot, so nice work Splashmaster.

Um, that's because Splashmaster attacked Carrot's spear and thus his attack attribute applied, thankyouverymuch. :smaug:

I just love the machine, don't care about any spells. Unless they're amazing, but what are the odds?

I saw the writing on the machine before I read the text bubble and was about to put it through the Gravity Falls decoder. Did it anyway and unsurprisingly nothing came up.

What miraculous luck that they filled it with 300 copies of the same spell at the factory! Imagine the odds!

I'm happy Almond got to deal the killing blow, I feel like she really needed that as a character. There's usually this invisible joke zone that media allows female fighters to be competent in before the men have to step in and despite all evidence to the contrary I was still worried that somehow her attack would do nothing and Carrot had to finish Splashmaster off or some dumb poo poo like that.

E: On the other hand, she should have fed Carrot that kill, since he could really need the experience.

The best possible next step is obviously Nightmare Knight behaving like a proper knight, i.e. defending the lady's honor.

Tomato is obviously in love with Parfait, so I think this will be more of a tragic romance for Nightmare Knight. Though NK seems too professional to even attempt a relationship with a henchman.

I just caught up with this comic after honestly getting pretty bored with it at the end of chapter 1/start of chapter 2. The writing has become surprisingly engaging (for the longest time I was only along for the ride for the art and style), especially everything relating to Nightmare Knight. This page right here is the strongest in the entire comic so far. I'm pretty sure I'm just repeating popular opinions, but yeah.
