After watching Sherlock I find it hard to be upset about this, Cumberbatch is awesome, and according to TrekMovie he got the part after giving an outstanding audition. It also helps insure this really will be a completely new take on it, not simply because he isn't Latino, but because he is so completely different from Ricardo in every possible way. They are both males with dark hair and that's about it.
