I had that happen once in Destruction Derby 2 many years ago, but the car remained spinning on a single spot. It was still spinning a lap later.

President Ark posted:Unfortunately people whined about it a lot because it got in the way of them playing virtual commodities broker at the auction houses and nothing nearly that cool has happened since. That's pretty much WoW.txt sadly, aside from EVE it seems like most MMO players really hate the idea of anything interesting happening in-game.

It literally will not let me quit The cruelest and yet least severe of the game's issues. PS: Your friend is a masterful troll.

HonorableTB posted:Man, those WWE games are pretty awful these days. I'm not even talking about from a bug standpoint either, I'm talking about the actual mechanics and fundamentals of the game. There's just nothing there anymore. No wonder the bugs are the most entertaining part of the experience now. Yeah the bugs are amazing because they end up making it look like an MDickie game. But you should only play MDickie games if you want vidya rasslin'.

I was expecting it to be a disaster, but after my best friend recommended it, I picked Dying Light up and yeah, it's actually pretty good. GOTY? All-time classic? By no means. A decent way to spent a few bucks and hours? Yeah, unless you are not a fan of the kind of game, it's a pretty good time. Does a good job of nighttime being genuinely loving terrifying.

synthetik posted:I was contracted for some of the physics modeling for Madden '96 (yes I'm ) - I received a royalty check this year, just like the past 20. The notion that physics coding on the Genesis and on the Bone/PS4 is similar enough that even a single letter of your code remains is absolutely mindblowing, and says a great deal about EA, but good for you at least!

Rogue City owns, really nails the way that you are incredibly dangerous and vastly more powerful than almost anything you come up against. This bug sounds incredible, I gotta get a chance to play before they patch it.

Lucky as hell you found him before he got somewhere you couldn't shoot, I had a target do that in Paris and by the time I figured it out he was a tiny red dot in predator vision having hosed off across the Seine and also like 160 feet in the air. Managed to lure him back with some phone shenanigans and it took him about seven minutes to get back within bounds lol

Tbf in Cyberpunk there's advertising that is like "gently caress everyone else on the road, keep YOURSELF safe, the new Child Carmageddoner from Ford has the most guns of any car on the market!" and combined with the general level of violence, it's probably safer to be in an armored windowless shell despite the obvious problems

The biggest bullshit is that basically all your buffs, debuffs, traits, etc. are completely random. Even your spawn location! I get that some people like challenge runs but really, what kind of balance is it when some people roll Germany and some people roll Myanmar? This leads to a lot of unfairness at the best of times but it's even worse because there are some bugs where, for instance, you can be female but the game insists you've picked male and the dev is as always completely unresponsive even to shitloads of tickets, because it's "wad" and you're supposed to use the lovely, expensive, time-consuming in-game methods that exist for changing your character. Instead of just letting you reroll like a normal loving game would.
