Oh right, I forgot to change to my actual pitching lineup now that we can get relegated. Assuming the lineups get fixed, bring Perry, Kaat, and Grimes up, and send Radke, Doak, and Grant down. New Rotation: Kaat Grimes Perry Pascual Ames Gonzales personal catcher for Ames Also, whatever Tony O is eating, give some to the rest of my players

Do I have enough decent pitchers now to not get shelled in the Super League? What's the best way to deal with my weird outfield situation of having all right fielders? Is getting a decent closer important for me?

Put Traynor in at 3B. Also, play Fregosi at 2nd until Hornsby isn't sore anymore. Maybe a little rest will help him start hitting

Ratings Challenge! Rogers Hornsby is one of the best hitters ever. From age 20-35, he had a batting average below .300 just once, and 3 of those years hit over .400. It's not an era effect, as his OPS+ was above 150 all but 3 of those years. His current average is below that of my Lance Parrish, the Daydreamers' Smoky Burgess, the Imperialists' Darrell Porter, and the Unicorns' Brian McCann (the catchers of the first four teams in the update). In sum, Rajah deserves better

The problem with all these bids is that players who will never play in the Super League have less value than even a ratings challenge. Unless they're at least good enough to be a backup, they essentially are worthless
