This 66 Chevy Nova came into my shop for an inspection last Saturday:

In addition to the custom paint and wheels, it had a built small block that the owner claims made almost 500hp. Sounded mean and had a noticeable lope in the idle. The original front suspension had long since worn out in several areas, it's coming back later in the week for a complete overhaul.

Figures the first and probably the only time I'll ever get to work on an actual GT500 is after some jerk plows it into a curb. I got the pleasure of picking up where the body/frame shop left off:

The test drive afterwards was quite :stare: to say the least.

So a 2003 Dodge Caravan Taxi comes in for service:

The owner claims that the 3.3L under the hood is still the original and that he's always taken good care of it. It ran and drove about as well as anyone would expect, despite the CEL being lit. I don't suppose it's impossible to achieve something like this with proper maintenance, I just never thought I'd see it on a newer Caravan. :psyduck:

The Mustang looks incredible though, the frame rebuild looks pretty drat sharp.

Correct, that is a 1970 El Camino SS just out of frame. I'll be sure to get some more pictures of that and of the Mustang when I go back next weekend.

I mentioned a while ago about helping out a friend of mine put a 1965 Mustang together for his son, some progress has happened since then:

The mildly built 302/C4 have found their way in.

Steering/Suspension and brakes on both the front and rear are done. The wheels are temporary rollers for now.
The pictures I took of the rear end turned out terribly due to space and lighting issues, I'll see what I can do about that in the near future. My apologies.

And now the next phase of fun can begin, that's just the first harness! :unsmith:

The red coupe in the foreground is a 1948 Chevy Fleetliner, on the lift is a 1951 Ford Victoria, in the background is a 1956 Chrysler Imperial, and under the cover is my boss' 1966 Pontiac GTO. Aside from the GTO, these are customer cars that we're either waiting for parts and/or authorization for repairs.
