Any tips on a 100-point Imperial list to get a newish player into the game? I've been running Chewie and Biggs for my Rebels, but they haven't been fair against a sorta halfhearted Vader list. I'd like to put together something more fun and competitive for the Imps.

I've got 2 starters, 1 of every expansion, and doubled up on Slave I's. I'd like to fit in an Interceptor and either a Slave I or the Shuttle, but whatever's going to be fun and balanced.

I like this list:

Krassis Trelix with Heavy Laser Cannon, Recon Specialist
Howlrunner
Academy Pilot
Academy Pilot
Academy Pilot

I've been almost exclusively using this list since I first got into the game. It's fun to fly, it encompasses a variety of gameplay elements, and it's quite strong-- I flew this to first place at three out of three Imdaar events I attended! If you want to play "more seriously" with it I'd drop Recon Specialist for Rebel Captive, but I think that's not well-suited for a new player.

This looks ideal, thanks! Variety without any dead weight is what I'm going for here. The Vader was just too many points and got chewed up (heh) by my Falcon super quick. This should make for a more interesting match, and I might switch my pilots so they're not the min-max best, while maintaining the ships I like to fly.

Got absolutely ruined in my first game in months today - played 100 points, I had Corran Horn, Ten Numb w/ Fire Control System, and Kyle Katarn w/ Blaster Turret, Recon Specialist and Moldy Crow. My Imp opponent (and girlfriend) ran rings around me with Carnor Jax, Soontir Fel, Gamma Squadron Bomber and Dark Curse, with a bunch of great upgrades. She focused down my Moldy Crow before it could really hand out the Focus Action goodies, and the B- and E-Wings weren't upgraded enough to be all that effective. ... I have no idea how to build a good 100 point list without relying on Chewie-Falcon + Wedge or Biggs. :(

First, don't sink like a third of your points into a HWK

2 focus actions every turn! That don't go away! And can be handed out like candy! ... It sounded so promising.

Had one of the clear plastic pegs break off the little clear plastic hole on the bottom of my TIE Bomber. The hole and peg are still essentially fused together. Any ideas for separating them? I'm going to try a Lego Separator when I get home.

...

I used it as a reason to order another TIE Bomber too, just in case. :3:

The problem here, as I read it, is that the peg broke off in the dock for it, so that he can't just put another one in the model.

Bingo. There's plastic still in the Bomber's bottom, and the peg has part of the Bomber's plug fused to the top of it.
