I don't know that I would consider Beck to be bad at the delivery. He does it like a preacher or someone giving a testimonial to convert you to Jesus at a Lay Witness Mission event at a church. For whatever reason that type of thing hits the spot for some people.

I didn't see her show last night but the last two before were basically about figuring out that the Feds had subpoenaed Chritie's Office and Campaign Organization but not the chief players in the bridge issue which seems to indicate that the Federal investigation going on is probably about misuse of the Sandy relief funds, not the bridge lane closing. My point is the story is evolving, it's not really the same thing over and over.

Rush knows it's offensive. He's pretty much said his job involves pissing about half of his listeners off to keep them listening. I guess my point is don't mistake the puppet master for a puppet. In order to share the wealth and spread the pain like a good socialist I feel it's my obligation to pass on to this thread what a tremendous douche this guy Nick Searcy, an actor on 'Justified', seems to be. He was being interviewed on my local AM station today by the local AM "libertarian" *wink* *wink* who was lapping up his poo poo in full force. The gist of it is this dude is cool because he directly insults "the left" on Twitter. Earlier in the thread others were talking about how some of the conservative movement seems to be interested in sticking it to liberals vs. making a valid argument. This guy is the poster child for that. Dude is like: all liberals are dumb and arguing is worthless so I just shut them down with some sweet ad hominem on Twitter  I feel dirty for even giving this guy air but it's certainly in the spirit of this thread. While I was transitioning into the life of the working man with coffee available in the office, I had a lady I worked with confront me on my use of sugar and cream. She told me "UFO, you don't like coffee, you like ice cream". I took it as an insult and from that day forward started drinking it black. I now prefer it that way as it tastes kind of nasty with sugar and cream in it now.

In Asheville we have an old contaminated industrial site that folks have been working on trying to get cleaned up for 20 years. The company that used the site and dumped toxic waste on it has skirted doing anything about it since the beginning and I belief at this point NC's statute of limitations for such lawsuits has basically absolved CTS from liability. What's kind of funny about the whole thing is the other day there was a hearing in Congress where some of our local congressmen got to grill the EPA administrator. The funny framing was "well since the EPA can't immediately agree to clean this up what good are any new environmental regulations!!!". The local AM "Libertarian" douche was taking the same angle when commenting on it yesterday. It's bizarre but not shocking. It just seems so weird: A company ruined our environment! They can't be held accountable!  I haven't been to a barber in over 20 years! You can get some clippers for around $25, a cheap hand held mirror and then go to town. It takes a few tries to get the hang of it but it's well worth it if you don't mind having short hair.
