Back in the 80s, my family had one of those giant satellite dishes where with the right knowledge one could record a whole week's worth of Jeopardy from the syndicate's upload feed. My friends were amazed at my knowledge and I made at least $100 off of side bets. My brother was 3 when the current version of Jeopardy appeared. His inability to say 'Jeopardy' has led to my family calling it 'Jefferdy' to this day.

There was a contestant named Forrest that picked his category/$ randomly instead of sticking to one category and going down the dollar amounts. The theory is it breaks the other contestants rhythm.

I for one would go across with the easy row, then go across with the hard row, then across on the middle row, then go random the rest of the way

In fairness, this is the part of Wheel that feels like is missing, that used to be there. A lot of the fun was Sajak interacting with the contestants. Today it's all business, and the show isn't as fun to watch.
