So last night I got on PS2 and ended up in a squad where people were talking and actually working together. Something finally clicked and it was ridiculously fun. Think I'll be playing a lot more now.

I'm downloading arma III now this is a huge mistake isn't it edit: apparently it might be that holding right mouse zooms you in and if you just want to bring your sights up you need to just click right mouse instead of holding it down.

Looks like coop missions against AI, team deathmatch and a wasteland mode that's basically just a big sandbox errbody do your own poo poo type thing for against other players. Should be a lot more coming but right now it's just in alpha stage. Once it hits beta though price goes up, and again once the final version is released. edit: as far as the persistent battles you'd be able to hop in and hop out whenever.
