See, for other normal comics made by mere mortals, the snapping-fingers-approach-from-darkness would be the climax of a page, but, for Paranatural, that's only the starting point and it only gets better from there.

The fairest game of dodgeball I've ever played was one were everyone hopped into the middle of a circle and two people throwing the ball stayed outside of the circle. When you got hit, you moved outside of the circle and could throw the ball at folks inside the circle. The winner was the last person left. The final two people were 'it' for the next round.

Incidentally, I work at a number of Japanese elementary schools and once, to end an argument between the girls and boys over whether or not to play their overly complicated dodgeball that I still don't understand how works, I suggested my version. This kids and the teachers loved it. Still, I might try a variation based on this comic in the future.
