Here's the Dutch version of the same map (only without gradations) In the Netherlands the political center was for Europe, while the right and the left were against. The left was afraid of regressive neo-liberalism handed down by undemocratic bureaucrats, while the right is afraid of foreigners in general. ekuNNN fucked around with this message at 15:14 on Apr 13, 2013 |

A Buttery Pastry posted:Took the data from kustomkarkommando's link and made some maps: Dutch people generally look down on the German fondness for dubbing and make fun of it a lot. And because almost everyone is pretty good at English most people feel that the French should just get over themselves and speak English like normal people, when dealing with foreigners. Because of the media we consume most people quickly lose their German and/or French language skills from school, but we keep using our English.

It also seems like it would be much cheaper to sub a movie than to dub it.

While looking into a few of them I also found out that the TKP doesn't exist anymore quote:After a period of internal strife, two rival factions of TKP reached a consensus on 15 July 2014 to freeze the activities of the party and that neither faction shall use the name and emblem of TKP.

From Wikipedia: The FNP is a left-wing nationalist party, which advocates a federalist political system in which Frisians get more autonomy. It calls for greater autonomy of the region, government use, protection and recognition of the Frisian language and Frisian control over its gas reserves. Here's a map of active separatist movements in Europe. Red names indicate regions with movements that only claim greater autonomy within the actual state. Black names indicate regions with important secessionist movements, although both categories include moderate movements. The nations highlighted in colors are the territories claimed by the local nationalist groups, including areas out of the state's borders and cases of annexation to other states:
